Abstract
|
|
|
Four cases of human sparganosis were encountered, three male and one female of Korean national, who had histories of eating raw flesh of snakes of various kind, for the purpose of treatment of neuralgia and arthritis, as so prescribed by the herb medicine.
The Larvae of two cases of sparganosis were found from subcutaneous tissue at abdomen, back, and inguinal regions, and in the remaining other cases at the scrotal and sigmoidal regions.
